Ramiro is Verano Capital’s Country Manager for Argentina. He leads the local team and assists in business development, strategy, and project financing.
Ramiro holds a Degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo of Mendoza (Argentina). From 1994 through 1999 he worked as Financial Advisor. In 1999 he landed in the wine business thanks to a collaboration with an International Funds Company of New York (DLJ: Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette buyer of Peñaflor-Trapiche, one of the most important South American wineries), focusing on business strategy. In 2002 he moved to Italy and became the first Argentinean to achieve the MBA degree in Wine Management in Florence. He joined Matura International project as Latin America General Manager in 2003.
